Continuing with my fascination of topographical landscapes, my new Pink Lake series of paintings focus on a palette of pastel colours inspired by the aerial views of the Lake Bumbunga in VIC.

With some off the purest salt in the world produced here, these colours occur naturally from the lagoons micro-algae plant, creating the pink and purple hue in the lake along with an array of gelato pastel colours.

Materials – Synthetic Polymer, Ash, Enamel, Sand, Resin and Impasto on canvas.
Size – 91cm x 91cm (framed in sustainably grown Tasmanian Oak).
